AEROLINEAS ARGENTINAS COMET 4 - LV AHP
A nice Herpa 1/500 model . LV-AUP was first delivered to Aerolineas Argentinas as LV-PLP and changed to its current registration in May 1959. Its operations with Ar was short-lived as the Comet crashed on Approach on 27/8/1959 in ASU Airport in Paraguay.
Aerolineas Argentinas will operate 7 COMET 4 and will withdraw the type on the early seventies. Of the 7 operated by the company , 3 will be written-off in crash/training and the remaining will be sold for parts/operations to DAN-AIR LONDON

AVIANCA BOEING 707-359B "Sucre" HK-1402
Herpa 1/500-cn19741
The ship first flew on 20/2/1968 and was delivered new to AVIANCA on 7/3/1968. The loner remained with the company until it was broken-up in Miami in June 1993. She took her name after Antonio de Sucre y Alcala a Venezuelan independence leader and close friend of Simon Bolivar. Sucre is actually the constutional capital
AVIANCA AIRBUS A318-111 N595EL
N595EL (cn 2394) first flew on 19/1/2005 and was delivered to MEXICANA on 10/02/2005, After the demise of the company on 2010, the aircraft was stored in Tucson and registered as N595EL with GECAS. AVIANCA leased her on 20/4/2011 and now,she is stored at Phoenix Goodyear Airport (GYR)since September 16,2019.
B.W.I.A BOEING 707-321B - 9Y-TEZ
AEROCLASSICS 1/400
9Y-TEZ saw the light on January 24/1969 and was delivered as N891PA to Pan American World Airways as Clipper Gem of the Ocean on February 6,1969 (cn20028). PAN AM sold the aircraft to BWIA in May 1976 taking the present registration. BW started to sell its B707 fleet in the early eighties and this particular aircraft went to several owners :
N3127-Walston wings in June 1982
VR-CBN-ESAL commodities Sept.1983
N320MJ- JETRAN in Jan.1989
N320MJ -COMTRAN in Oct.1989
N320MJ -Omega Air in Sept.1990
The frame will terminate its life in MARANA and the registration cancelled on July 8,1991
LAN-CHILE CARAVELLE VI-R - CC-CCP
AEROCLASSICS 1/400
CC-CCP is part of a 3 airplane order of the VI-R version ordered by the Chilean Airline . The Caravelles operated both on National and International routes of the airline and were withdrawn from services in the mid-seventies. All 3 frames were sold to AEROTAL of Colombia . This particular frame was sold in August 1975 and re-registered HK-1779 and was withdrawn from use in Bogota in 1981

MEXICANA -COMET 4 - XA-NAP
HERPA 1/500
This comet 4 was born as BOAC G-APDR and leased to MEXICANA as XA-NAZ. Bought from the British carrier and changed its registration to XA-NAP. Sold for parts on 25/6/1971 to Channel AIrways and was broken-up on 1973. MEXICANA operated a total of 5 Comets, 3 4C versions and 2 Comet 4 versions.
A single frame XA-NAR is preserved in BOAC colors (as G-EVCC) at the Museum of flight foundation in Everett
