SALAM AIR is a newly established company in 2016 in Oman as an answer to a government bid for a low cost commercial operator in the country.
SALAM AIR is owned by the National Muscat Development and Investment company (ASAAS) and its fleet as of April 30.2017 consists of 3 Airbus A320 leased from LATAM
A40-OVA Samahran (Holiday village in Oman) Delivered 26/01/2017 .
A40-OVB Fateh El Khair (Last Ghanjah boat restored and open to the public) Delivered 24/02/2017.
A40-OVC Kahf Al Hoota (Estimated to be over 2 million years old, Al Hoota Cave is located at the foot of Jabal Shams, Oman’s epic mountain. It is the first and only show cave in the Arabian Peninsula with a total length of around 4.5 kilometres, of which just 500 metres is accessible to the general public) . Delivered 29/03/2017
All Airbuses are equipped with 174 -seat one class layout .

The company started its operations on January 30,2017 with a Muscat-Salalah flight followed on February 28 with a Muscat-Dubai segment.
Flights to Jeddah were introduced on April 16, and to Madinah on May 2,2017.
Expansions to Sialkot and Multan are expected on May 16 and May 23,2017 respectively.
