Sakura is the Japanese term for ornemental cherry trees and their blossoms.

Cherry blossom is an important part/event  of Japanese culture as "Hanami" is the practice of picknicking under a blooming Sakura. The cherry blossoms symbolize clouds due to their nature of blooming "en masse" and represents an enduring metaphor of the ephemeral nature of life
