UNITED ARAB AIRLINES-EGYPT AIR B707 OPERATIONS IN THE 70s
The story of the B707 operations with U.A.A starts on a wrong foot. An original order for 5 b707-320 were placed in the 1960 with deliveries starting In November 1961 and ending in April 1964. The contract fell apart as no financing could be made available. U.A.A turned to ordering more DH106 Comets. The tide changed in 1966 when on June 15, 1966 a new contract for 3 Boeing 707 were signed . The first of which SU-AOU "Khopho" was delivered on September 18, 1968 . UAA put the new airliner on its London run.

An Airbus will bill be leased in 1977 and a couple of B737 in October 1975 pending the deliveries of the company's own frames.
The timetable dated may 15-Oct 31, 1977 gives us an outlook on the operations of Egypt Air's 707 .
