The April 1971 timetable gives a glimpse of the operations of the BAC111 within the global network of BUA/BCAL

The aircraft met its final fate when it was scrapped in 2005.

A few words about the BAC 111-500, compared to its siblings  the stretched version of the original BAC111-200/400 series was longer by 4.11 m, the latest version of the MK 512 spey engine, an increased wing span 1.5 m  and a longer range of 2744 km. Furthermore, the capacity increased from 79 passengers to 119 passengers.
The bac 111 was a direct competitor to the F28 and Doiglas DC9.
